In August 2004, UniSoma celebrated a partnership to provide services with Paragon Decision Technologies, a Dutch software company provider of AIMMS® – Advanced Integrated Multidimensional Modeling Software. AIMMS is a development tool for Decision Support Systems and Advanced Planning Applications. It is used by many companies in diverse areas such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), Production Planning, Logistics, Forest Planning and Risk, Return and Assets Management. AIMMS offers integration with a wide range of commercial solvers, such as, ILOG Technologies CPLEX®.

A UniSoma partner since 2003, ILOG Technologies is one the world's main suppliers of development tools for planning and scheduling applications based on mathematical programming and contraint programming techniques. From its product portfolio, CPLEX® (a state of the art solver for large LP and MIP problems), CP Optimizer® and the development suite OPL® are highlights. Early 2009, ILOG was acquired by IBM®, amongst the global leading companies in SOA - Service-Oriented Architecture and BPM - Business Process Management markets.

Located in Campinas-SP, Franco Arbeit is an Engineering Service Company. International reference in advanced techniques of analysis, Franco Arbeit is a Rockwell Software partner, the Arena tool supplier, worldwide leader in computer simulation.
Since 2003, UniSoma and Franco Arbeit have been providing consulting services for clients in steel production, such as Siderúrgica Barra Mansa, ArcelorMittal Cariacica e ArcelorMittal Tubarão. As a result, the companies developed, in 2006, a discrete events simulation kernel. One of its first applications of this tool was in the study "Operations Strategy for maneuvering metal plates in courtyards for LTQ at ArcelorMittal Tubarão".
